Far more valuable to me than a commission is my reputation among clients and referral sources as a trustworthy loan consultant. 100% of my business comes from referrals and repeat clients.
I will soon release a consumer protection book about the mortgage industry. You can find some of its content on this site. My hope is that people will be treated fairly when they get a mortgage, where ever they go. Knowledge about how mortgages work is the single best way you can ensure you are treated fairly. Another is to chose an honest loan officer to begin with.

I have a degree in Business Management, a real broker's estate license and am a Certified Mortgage Planning Specialist. CMPS certification is, in essence, a Master's Degree for the lending industry.
I am the oldest of 7 children, 6 girls and 1 boy. I have 3 children and 1 grandson. My mother is one of 6 children and my father one of 3, so I have a plethora of aunts, uncles and cousins. My grandma is still kicking at 95 years old!
